GARY MOORE To Release First-Ever DVD

Legendary guitarist GARY MOORE will release his first-ever DVD, titled "Live at Monsters of Rock", on October 6 through Sanctuary Visual Entertainment. Recorded on May 21, 2003 at the Hallam FM Arena in Sheffield, U.K. it features 5.1 surround sound, the complete "Monsters of Rock" set list, soundcheck footage and a backstage interview with Gary, shot prior to the show.

A live CD, also entitled "Live at Monsters of Rock", has just been released through Sanctuary Records. Recorded at the SECC in Glasgow, on the "Monsters of Rock" tour with WHITESNAKE, it features tracks spanning Gary's recording career, ranging from his THIN LIZZY days, to hard rock, blues and right up to date with three tracks from last years SCARS release.

"The DVD and CD contain no overdubs, and so are a complete record of the 'Monsters of Rock' setlist, exactly as it was performed on the nights in question," according to a post on Moore's web site. "The version of 'Don't Believe A Word', is in fact two versions joined together. As Gary had recorded a slow version on his 'Back On The Streets' album in 1978, and as THIN LIZZY used to play an up-tempo version in their live set, Gary thought why not put both versions together and include it in the 'Monsters of Rock' set, as no doubt many of the fans would be interested in hearing it again, after all these years."
